Auction Thomasvllle, Pa. May 5,1976 IDuane Hegna "Heatheistone Enterprizes” Of Baraboo, Wisconsin says ... • For every dollar spent for Agri-King’s “Silo- King preservative," we realized approximately $lO.OO return in the feeding value of our haylage. • THE TREATED HAYLAGE WAS STORED IN MY HARVESTORE, AND I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO TROUBLE UNLOADING IT AT THE HIGH MOISTURE LEVEL. The “Silo-King Way” made it possible for me to put up haylage five to six hours after mowing. At least 50 percent of my haylage would have been damaged last year by wet weather if I had let it lay the normal length of time. •Our “Silo-King" treated haylage harvested at 65 percent to 70 percent moisture tested 2Vz points higher in crude protein than untreated haylage at 50 percent to 55 percent moisture. • Our cows ate more of the lush green treated haylage than the untreated haylage, and they didn't waste as much either. •Milk production increased 4 lbs. per cow per day when we switched from untreated haylage to treated haylage. • I have been on the Agri-King Dairy Feeding Program for 3 years.
