Ground veal, stew meat and variety meats should be kept in the refrigerator for only 1 or 2 days, but they may be kept in the freezer for 3 to 4 months. If unground cuts of veal have been prepackaged in plastic film, they can be stored unopened in the refrigerator for up to one week or in the freezer for 1 or 2 weeks. Veal to be frozen should be wrapped closely and sealed tightly in moisture resistant materials. To thaw raw veal love it in the freezer wrap and place it in the refrigerator.
