The memorandum of understanding signed by CoFRANIMEX General Manager Rene Breton and National FFA Executive Secretary Wm. Paul Gray provides for an expense paid tour of French farms and research stations for the National FFA Beef Production Award winner Terry Bullis, 20, of Mariposa, California, and for the National FFA Sheep Production Award winner Brad D. Myers, 19, of Renville, Minnesota. This is the first time the FFA has cooperated with CoFRANIMEX to provide international travel for FFA award winners. The four week tour beginning March 1 will include full round trip airfare from Washington, D.C. to Paris and expense paid travel throughout France. During the first week of the program BuQis and Myers will be guests of the Blonde d* Aquitaine Breed Association and will travel to the INRA Zootechnic research stations in Jouy en Josas and Ramboullet. They will also visit several top Blonde d’ Aquitaine breeders in the vicinity of Paris. During the second week Bullis and Myers will have guest tickets to all exhibits at the Paris International Agricultural Show, one of the largest livestock and agricultural equipment shows in Europe. The final two weeks will be spent touring France and visiting many top French sheep and beef breeders. PFA members Myers and Builis were named national High speed grain loading system built WALNUT GROVE, Minn. - Continental Grain Company has begun operation of its new high meed unit train loading facility here. Company officials said the multi-million-dollar in stallation is designed to load a 100-car unit train in 5-6 hours, expediting transfer of grain from the upper middle west to domestic and export markets. The Walnut Grove elevator has a storage capacity of 370,000 bushels, in four concrete silos and five steel tanks.
