New England: Cold snap, mostly sunny and dry to start, then
some flumes in mountains; partly cloudy and seasonably cold lat
ter part, some general snow flumes by weekend
Greater New York-New Jersey: Increasing clouds and colder with
light snow midweek, latter part some light snow, partly clear and
continuing cold
Middle Atlantic Coastal: Early week cold with moderately heavy
snow and freezing rain, becoming lighter midweek, clearing and
seasonable latter part
Piedmont & Southeast Coastal: Rainy at first, some snow m
