The school is for dairymen, and anyone
milking cows or training others to milk
cows.
Milking is one of the most important jobs
on a dairy farm. Dairymen lose large
sums of money each year because of udder
infections, losses in milk production,
mastitis treatments, and discarded milk.
Much of these problems are a result of
poor milking habits, mastitis, udder in
juries, faulty equipment, etc.
The goal of the school is to encourage
dairymen to develop good milking habits.
