When he graduates he plans to raise sows and stay on the farm with his father and brother. Fred Kober Fred Kober Eastern York H.S. Fred J. Kobcr, 17, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. He was awarded a chain guilt in 9th grade. He has received the Greenhand in 9th grade and the Chapter farmer in 10th grade and the Red Rose Degree in 11th grade. He took sth place in Lancaster County in Dairy Products Judging. He ad vanced to state and placed Chris McCarty Chris McCarty Penn Manor H.S. His projects are Beef Breeding, hay, com, small grain and tobacco. He participated in livestock judging - contests and dairy judging contests in the York County area. After graduating this year Fred plans to work with his father on their 300 acre farm. Chris McCarty, 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William McCarty of R. D. 2, Conestoga, PA. He has been active in the FFA for 4 years. One project he has had was hogs. He held two different Ron Hunt Ron Hunt Penn Manor H.S. Ronald Hunt, 16 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hunt, Millersville Rl, has been active in the FFA for 4 years. He has had the following projects: veal calves, steers, market hogs, swine breeding, corn, tobacco and turnips. He received a Foundation Award for livestock production. He was selected by the Keystone Exposition as an outstanding Junior Livestock producer. He received Star Greenhand and Star Chapter Farmer. He also received the Red Rose Degree. He has held an office for the past 4 years; Reporter, Assistant Sentinel, Corresponding. Secretary and President. He has won trips at Penn State twice. One trip in Poultry Judging to Kansas City where he received a Bronze Award and another trip to the Eastern States Exposition where he placed first in the Dairy Judging Contest. He has shown hogs at the local fairs and at the county and state shows.
