Bushel of Cookies
7 cups sugar
24 cups lard
6 eggs
4 pound peanuts
4 pound raisins
1 cup syrup
2 cups milk
12 cups flour
4 3 4 cups oatmeal
2 tablespoons soda
2 tablespoons baking powder
Grind the peanuts and
raisins together and mix in
with ingredients. No further
instructions given.

Hot Fudge
Pudding
1 cup sifted flour
% cup sifted sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
V 2 teaspoon salt
Vz cup milk
Vz cup nuts
1 teaspoon butter (melted)
1 square chocolate
Melt butter and chocolate
together. Sift dry ingredients
and add milk. Beat and add
nuts and chocolate mixture.
Beat and drop m sauce by
spoonfuls
Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
3 4 cup sugar
1 two-third cups water
1 square of chocolate
Place in a sauce pan and
boil for five minutes. Stir
occasionally, put in baking
dish. Bake at 350 degrees for
4045 minutes.
