pickles thin and pack in Jars.
Pour syrup over and process
in boiling water about 5
minutes. This nukes about 7
quarts. _

2 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons melted butter
2 eggs, separated
1% cups milk
Sift dry ingredients into a
mixing bowl. Beat egg yolks
and add milk. Combine with
flour mixture and add

Peanut Batter Pie
Filling.
Vi cup confectioner's sugar
Vi cup peanut butter
two-thirds cup granulated
sugar
3 tablespoons com starch
1 tablespoon flour
pinch of salt
3 egg hoiks
3 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat three egg whites until
stiff and add Vi teaspoon
cream of tartar and Vi cup
granulated sugar.
Cream confectioner's
sugar and peanut butter until
crumbly and set aside. Stire
next 8 ingredients together in
sauce pan. Cook over
medium beat stirring con
stantly. Bring to just below
boiling point and cook a- few
minutes more. Sprinkle two
thirds cups of peanut butter
mixture into bottom of pie
shell. Pour custard over this.
Spread beaten egg whites on
top and make meringue.
Bake until browned.

well. Add one teaspoon each
of vanilla, salt and baking
powder. Put in three small
loaf pans.
The success of this cake
depends upon thorough
creaming of the butter and
sugar. The mixture should
'be beaten after each egg Is
added.

4 envelopes of Knox un
favored gelatine
3 packages of flavored
gelatine (3 ounce packs)
4 cups boiling water
Combine gelatin and
water. Stir until dissolved
and chill until form. Cut into
small blocks and serve for
snacks or appetizers.
