Slaughter Steers and
Heifers largely steady to
firm compared with sales
the middle of last week.
Trading at mid-week was a
forced affair. Moderate
numbers as the meat trade
moved lower in a poor
demand situation and buying
interests had lower ideas,
however, the supply of steers
and heifers on Wednesday
were moved at steady to
slightly high prices with the
most noticeable strength on
under 1100 lb, steers. Cows
