with some sales 2.50 on
heifers under 500 lb.
Slaughter cows closed 1.00-
2.00 higher, while a light
supply of bulls closed steady
to weak. Slaughter heifers
closed 1.00-2.00 higher.
Salable supply this week
totaled 29,500, compared to
23,320 last week, and 31,022
last year. Cows comprised
near 17 percent, feeders 81
percent of total.
