Last year’s sale was attended by over 1,000 persons from Lancaster, Berks and Chester counties. This year’s sale promises to draw even more. Last year, visitors ate over 880 portions of chicken barbecue and 80 quarts of home-made ice cream. They also took home over 200 pints of farm-made ice-cream and over 200 hame-baked pies. Experienced grand mothers supervise the meticulous finishing of hand made quilts, some with cross-stitched autumn-leaf design, some patchword quilts, crib quilts and baby afgahns. Conestoga Christian School has an enrollment of about 160 students in grades K through 10 now, and serves patrons from Eastern Lancaster County, Southern Berks County, and Northern Chester County.
