was named NASDA
president

of State Departments of
Agriculture (NGASDA), a
poet to which he was elected
at the annual meeting of the
10-state organization in July.
John S. Dyson, New York
Agriculture Commissioner,
assumed the presidency of
NEASDA.
As an officer of NASDA,
McHale also serves on that
organization’s board of
directors.
NASDA supports an office
at Washington, D.C., beaded
by Executive Secretary
William S. Cath, which
serves as a liaison between
the states and the federal
government on matters of
agricultural legislation and
administration.
