A goal of $25,000 has been set for the walk, according to Father Veronis, who added, “Last year people in Lan caster County raised over $23,000 in the CROP Walk for the Hungry. Somerset Miss becomes State HARRISBURG - Charlene Rac Maust, Berlin R 3, (Somerset County,) is the Pennsylvania Dairy Prin cess for 1975. The attractive brown haired, hazel-eyed miss, 16- year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas I. Maust, won the title Wednesday night in competition with 32 other contestants. The contest is an annual feature of the Pennsylvania All-American Dairy Show being held this week at the Farm Show Building. Contest judged chose Judi Travis, Rl, Smicksburg, Indiana County, as first runnerup, and Suellen Heffernan, K 4, Cochranton, Crawford County, as second runnerup. Beth Beall, R 2, Delta, York County, was named Miss Congeniality. Miss Maust succeeds Debra L. Miller, Linglestown. During her reign as dairy princess, Miss Miller traveled statewide to promote milk.
