The hanging is the military and
political pressure which this country
has had to face in the past and will
continue to face in the future in spite
of the talk about detente. Unless our
trade with Russia is restricted, or
more controlled so that advance
plans can be made, economic
pressure will rise on the economic
front (as it has already) and the
hanging will be complete.
I can't say I favor trading with
Russia at all, but if it must be, then
let’s do it intelligently. During the
next several weeks, the farm com
mentary on this page will go into
greater detail on this subject.
