Mays. President of Elizabethtown College, will be on hand for the ceremonies on the opening evening of the 1975 Elizabethtown Jayeee Festival, which will run September 17 through 20. Miller, who commands the Atoms in the lough and growing North American Soccer league, will talk with 'lOcccr fans and sign autographs, on the midway from 7 to f ) pm on Wed nesday, September 17 Fhe Philadelphia Atoms have also donated two vouchers for soccer jerseys and two tickets to next season’s opening game for the Chanty Sports Auction to be held Thursday night at the Festival. In addition to the Atoms game tickets and the two vouchers, which will each be exchanged for a soccer jersey in the purchaser’s size, there will be an autographed Philadelphia Eagles football, two framed, autographed Philadelphia Flyers team photos, and an official NBA basketball from the Philadelphia 76ers. Also going on the auction block will be an introductory flying lesion, donated by Smith Aviation of the MiirlclUi-RHzabcthtown Airport, and several passes to Elizabethtown College basketball games, provided by John Tullcy, college athletic director. Proceeds from the sale of all items at the Charity Sports Auction will go to the Elizabethtown unit of the I-ancostcr Association (or Retarded Children, except for the proceeds from the sale of the Eagles football, which will go to the Leukemia Society, at the Eagles' request. The Festival’s "Market Place Fair" will be opened at 6 15 Wednesday evening by Dr Morley J. Mays. President of Elizabethtown College and Honorary Chairman of the Market Place Fair. Persons wishing to enter handicrafts, artwork, floral displays, youth and group exhibits, bake goods, or farm products should bring them to the west end of the exhibit building on Kiwanis Boulevard, off College Avenue, on Monday and Tuesday, September 15 and 16, from noon to 9 p.m. Perishable items will be accepted from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday only. Bake goods from the Market Place Fair will be auctioned off Wed nesday evening at 9 p.m., with the proceeds going to improvements to be made by the Jaycees in the Elizabethtown borough park. Details and rules for the Market Place Fair have been distributed in the of ficial Festival pamphlet to u some 22,000 homes in a fif teen mile radius of Elizabethtown.
