State Plowing Contest
Contestants will vie for awards in the State Plowing
Contest scheduled for August 26. Divisions include con
tour; small plow, level land: and large plow, level land.
The contest will be held on the McDowell Farms near
the field days site.
Hay and Silage Shows
Everyone may see the Hay Show, Hay Crop Silage
Show, and Corn Silage Show. Farmers who wish to
enter samples in the Hay Show or Hay Crop Silage
Show may receive information at the local Cooperative
Extension Service office.
