18— UncMter Farmlni. Saturday. Auiust 23, 1975 V Willow Maple Farm's 47 Holsteins overcame record-breaking July heat to produce an average of 57.3 pounds of milk per day during the month. Their average daily butterfat production per cow was 1.86 pounds. Both figures were the highest recorded for the July DHIA summary. Second high place in milk production went to the Jesse Weaver herd, whose 28.6 cows averaged 52 pounds per cow per day. In average daily butterfat production, Isaac Zimmerman and Raymond Getz wound up in a tie with 1.83 pounds. The top individual record completed in the County on DHIA in 365 days or less belongs to “Patty,” a nine-year-old Holstein owned by Galen Bollinger. She produced 17,571 pounds of milk with a 4.7 test and 830 pounds of butterfat. Trailing her by four pounds in the butterfat column was Melvin Horst’s six-year-old “number 9.” She pumped out 19,215 M with a 4.3 percent butterfat test. Following is a list of those herds whose averages on DHIA were 1.25 pounds of butterfat or better. NAME OF HERD OWNER Willow Maple Farm Isaac E. Zimmerman Raymond N.
