FRIDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 15,
This herd consists of 93 mature, producing cows of which 24 have been fresh in the
last 60 days; 22 head are springers due to freshen in August and September; balance
in full flow of milk and re-bred for fall and winter production. Also selling are 12 large
springing heifers due in August and September; 25 open heifers that are ready to
breed; 25 head of heifers 6 mo. to 1 year of age and 22 started heifer calves 1 to 6 mo of
age. THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING HERD of home raised dairy cattle that has used
artificial breeding and D.H.I.A. testing for over 16 years. Good management, close
_ culling and top breeding have proven this to be a profitable operation. The herd is T.
B. Accredited and Certified Bangs Free; tested within 30 days of sale for out of state
shipment. All cows will be checked for pregnancy.
