(Editor’* Note): The following report is for the month of
June. The last Chester County DHIA was incorrectly
identified in a past issue.
A cow in the herd of George Lamborn recorded the
highest butterfat record for the month of June. Chastit
produced 912 pounds of fat with 18,295 pounds of milk.
Second high in production was No. 57 in the herd of
Jefferson Yoder with 891 pounds of fat and 21,554 pounds
of milk.
The herd of Jacob Stoltzfus recorded the highest herd
average with 1.96 pounds per day. Second high was the
herd of Jonas King with 1.96 pounds
