Tim Good was the starting center fielder on Lancaster’s state champion FFA softball team. Thursday morning’s general session was an exciting one. We were en tertained by the FFA State Band and FFA State Chorus. Then the new state officers were presented to us by the retiring officers. State President, Gary Butters, gave his retiring address. The session ended with Mr. Charles F. Lebo, adult treasurer of the FFA State Association, presenting the contest awards. “Embraceable You”, “Street of Dreams,” “Chicago”, and many, many more will flow from me stage of the York Fair under the baton of Murray McEachern. Lincoln dub The Lincoln 4-H Sewing Club held its 6th meeting Wednesday morning, at the Ephrata High School. The meeting was called to order by the president Carol Balmer. After the meeting Tonya Lehman and Tawnie Young led members in a song. Then the girls went outside and played a game directed by Nancy Nolt and Jennifer North. Pictures for the scrapbook were being taken. Most of the girls in the club are sewing their outfits. The meetings are held Wednesday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Home Economics rooms of the Ephrata Senior High School.
