Children from Willow Street, Strasburg and Lam
peter elementary schools were recently treated to a
visit of the J. Rohrer Witmer farm, Willow Street R 2.
The tour was sponsored by the Garden Spot FFA
Chapter from Lampeter-Strasburg High School.
The event proved to be
educational for the FFA
members as well as for the
elementary students. For
many of the children it was
their first visit to a farm.
Ore Valley
4-H Meets
The Ore Valley 4-H Club
met recently at the home of
Deb Lau. Under new
business the Olympics were
discussed along with
reminders of demonstration
day which will be coming up
the end of the month.

Windsor-Township Police
was given concerning the K-9
corps. Pam Keller also gave
a demonstration on rabbits.
Project books were
distributed. The next
meeting will be held June 24
at the Grange Hall.
