The Lehigh Dairy Calf Club had their monthly meeting recently at the Farm Credit Office in Fogelsville. The corrected project books were returned to the members. Speakers for the evening were Mr. Kauffman and Mr. O’Brian from Agway who discussed different types of livestock buildings. The next meeting will be June 17 at 8:00 p.m. at Ralph Urmy’s farm. There will be a demonstration by Daryl Urmy on fitting. Let stand in bag overnight to drain thoroughly. When dry crumble cheese curds and add the salt. When serving add the sweet and mix thoroughly. Makes about 3M> @<x*tcncU cups. Barbara Wenger Age 12 New Holland, PA XXX Homemade Grape NuU 3Vi cupa graham flour 1 cup brown augar or cup syrup 2 cups buttermilk or sour milk 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon soda Sift flour. Measure and add soda and salt. Sift again. Add sugar to flour and mix thoroughly. Add buttermilk to diy ingredients. Beat until smooth. Spread dough V« inch thick on flat greased pans. Bake at 375 for ap proximately 15 minutes or until crisp and golden brown. Let cool thoroughly and grind through a food chop per. Crisp in oven just before serving.
