decreased demand.
Estimated slaughter by

557,000 head of broilers and
fryers and 27,000 head of
rock cornish totaling 584,000.
This compares with 552,000
head of broilers and fryers
and 34,000 head of rock
cornish last Friday.
Ready-to-cook movement
including chilled and frozen
products only fair with
prices 1 ' cent lower.
Negotiated prices 2-3 lb. ice
packed broilers and fryers
for today’s delivery trucklot
sales of plant grade 39-41
cents.
Fowl - Offerings of both
light and heavy type are
limited and there were no
sales reported.
Turkeys - Supplies short
