James Felpel was recognized for his third place individual score in small engines in Springfield, and Daryl Martin was honored for his sixth place individual showing in the milk products contest at Springfield. Jay Oberholtzer and Curtis Martin shared an award for earning a silver team em blem m the national milk products contest in Kansas City, Mo. A special award plaque wentto Jay C.'Zimmerman, the Chapter’s 1974 American Fanner award winner. A special award plaque also went to Richard Groff, 1975 state proficiency award winner for ag sales and service. Achievement certificates in mechanics went to Jay Foltz and Donald Dietrich. Chain animal awards went to the following individuals: dairy calves - Richard Sweigart, Ronald Frey and David Gerhart; market lambs - Steve Strauss and Glen Beiler; gilts- Dennis Martin, Daryl Martin and Marty Hoover; capons - Harlan Martin, Daniel Hollinger and John Weiler. Honorary chapter farmer degrees went to the fathers of this year’s Keystone Degree winners. Accepting awards were Glenn Wissler, Lewis Weber, -perry Copenhaver and Melvin Felpel.
