preschool years are the
important ones in setting the
stage foi; a child’s future
learning. She urges county 1
parents of preschoolers to
attend this program. For
those parents wishing to
bring their small children, a
nursery and babysitting
service will be provided at
the meeting location for 30
children at the cost of $l.OO
per child. Babysitting ser
vices must be confirmed by
phone because of the limited
space available.

Service, will include a
general session on
disciplining the preschooler,
presented by James
Van Horn, Family Living
Specialist at The Penn
sylvania State University.
Participants will then select
two of four workshops of
fered: how to develop
creativity in the
preschooler; how to select
preschool educational
programs; managing with a
junior consumer; children
and television.
Discussion sessions will
include ‘Team by doing”
activities for parents. In
addition, education exhibits
relating to preschoolers will
be on display and handout
materials will be available
from local service agencies.
