Pennfleld Corporation held
its FourUi Annual Dairy
Awards Luncheon on
Tuesday March 18th at Good
‘N Plenty Restaurant in
Lancaster. Over 60 awards
were presented to dairy
farmers for outstanding 1974
herds and-or individual cow
records. Winners came from
throughout Pennsylvania
and Maryland.
Special guests included
Herman Stebbins, manager
of Sinking Springs Farm,
York, who outlined the basic
fundamentals of a fine dairy
herd; and Dianne Crider,
Lancaster County Dairy
Princess. Robert E.
Gregory, Pennfield dairy
and livestock marketing
manager served as master
of ceremonies.
Trophies, plaques and
plates were presented to
winners in three categories
by Frank Campbell, Richard
Poole and Stephen Leiser,
Pennfield area managers.
