H Tractor Club met recently
for their seventh weekly
meeting at Landis Bros.
Implement Company.
Wayne Erb, president,
presided at the business
meeting with Dale Musser
calling the roll.
The club voted to go on
several field trips which will
include touring the Cater
pillar Company.
A demonstration of
reflexes in working with
machinery was given by
Ronald Nolt. The meeting
was adjourned following
group work sessions.

Some 131 tractor pullers,
fans and agribusiness people
were on hand last Saturday
night for the first annual
Buck Tractor Pulls banquet.
The event was held in
Lancaster County at the
Rawlinsville Fire Hall.
The highlight of the
evening was the presentation
of 48 trophies by Elwood
Funk to pullers who had
captured the top three place
in each class at the Buck last
summer. Funk is president
of the Buck Tractor Pulls.

Coop Meet
Scheduled
An organizational meeting
of mini-farmers will be held
Friday at 8 p.m. in the
conference room of the
Lancaster Coca Cola Bot
tling plant on the Manheim
Pike. Those attending the
meeting will discuss the
formation of a cooperative
organization whose purpose
would be to buy bulk
quantities of farm supplies
for small landowners not
necessarily engaged in
commercial agriculture.
