MARCH 17-23, 1975
Spring if Anally here!
Mend your stonewalls now , . , St. Patrick’* Day March 17
. . . First quarter of the moon March 20 . , . Spring begins
March 21, 1:57 AM EDT . . . Average length of days for
week, 12 hours, 5 minutes .. . Night equals day on Tuesday
(each is 12 hours long) ... If the 19th is clear, it’ll be a
fertile year ... California Zephyr trains stopped March 22,
1970... Beware equally of a sudden friend and a slow enemy.
Ask the Old Farmer: I have
heard the expression several
times, “He or she is on
cloud nine.’’ I know it means
to be very happy about
something, but I have not
been able to discover where
it originated. Can you help?
