Twenty-six dollars was bid for this blue agate pot
during Saturday’s auction at the Hiram Greiner
farm along Colebrook Road, near Mastersonville.
Said a by-stander, “You don’t see those too often;
that was in good shape." She added, “I liked it, but
not for that kind of money." The old farmhouse
seen in the picture will be sold this Saturday along
with its 48 acres. Auctioneers for the sale are Rufus
Geib and Raymond Miller.
