The meeting opened with group singing and devotions by Miss Haines. She read a poem about childhood memories of springtime and Pslams 123. Members responded to roll call by giving an Easter Bible verse. Reports were given of the food stand at the sale of Rhoda Risser, and plans for the sale of Mae Gantz on April 12. It was announced that the county project for the year will be to buy a piano for the Farm and Home Center. Mr. Jack Loose of the Uncastcr Historical Society showed slides of Lancaster city and county dating from 1802 to the present time. Hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Ira Mast, Mrs. Paul Skiles, Mrs. Charles Rohrer and Mrs. Samuel Wenger, The next meeting will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Paradise on March 8 at 1:00 p.m. A covered dish luncheon will be served to guests, the county officers and Society 24. The ways and means committee announced the spring rummage sale will be April 8, at Bareville Fire Co. from 8:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Society 7 has invited the ladies of Society 24 to a luncheon at 1 p.m. March 8, at the Leacock Presbyterian Church.
