NEPPCO
Meetings
Slated
The Neppco service in
which poultryinen are show
ing the greatest interest is
the newly revised Members
Advisory Service according
to Dodge. To use it, a
member with a problem
simply calls the Neppco
office and is immediately put
in touch with a person who
has expertise in that par
ticular problem area. Dodge
said Neppco has also
developed a large Technical
Committee of specialists
from northeastern colleges,
extension service, and in
dustry, who have volun
teered their services as
consultants to Neppco
members for such trouble
shooting assignments. Their
expertise covers the general
areas of production,
processing and marketing
for eggs, broilers and
turkeys.
Dodge and Neppco’s
executive director, Richard
I. Ammon, have been the
principal speakers at these
meetings, which have been
co-sponsored and promoted
by state poultry
associations, the local ex
tension service and industry
firms.
Five more such meetings
are planned over the next
two months in Connecticut,
New York and Penn
sylvania.
The Pennsylvania meeting
will be held in the Lancaster
Farm and Home Center on
Thursday evening, March 20.
It will be co-sponsored by the
Lancaster County Poultry
Association but will be open
to all interested poultrymen.

Because the tank and pump are ‘‘unitized’’,
the De Laval vacuum pump takes up less space.
That means more room in the parlor. We
designed it for easy cleaning and maintenance,
ruggedness, long pump life, and quieter
