recently at the Blue Ball Fire

Region honored recently by the Atlantic Breeder
Cooperative for having high producing herds are
from left: Albert Fry, Manheim R 7; Clyde W.
Bollinger, Amos Hershey,
Titus Stoner, Christian Zook,
Hiram Aungst, Albert Fry,
J. Earl Horst, Donald Eby,
Henry and Paul Martin,
Clyde Martin, Paul Horning
and David Landis.
All the herds were at least
15 percent above the state
average for butterfat last
year, while at least two
thirds of the cows in these
herd are progeny of Atlantic
sires. The awards were
presented by Willis Ritchey,
Atlantic’s field supervisor
for this area.

were presented by Edwin
Sauder, an Atlantic area
representative.

tion is maintained for the next 100
years l the world will be out of
copper, gold, lead, mercury,
molybdenum, platinum, silver,
tin, tungsten, and zinc. If con
sumption rates increase, as they
have since 1960, it will only
take SO years to use 19 these
metals plus aluminum, cobalt,
manganese, and nickel.
