Safety Council has set the
week of January 12*18, 1975,
as Logging Safety Week
throughout Pennsylvania.
During this week of
celebrating, a special
logging safety film made on
location in Pennsylvania by
the Hammermill Paper
Company will highlight the
evening safety program set
for DiUsburg Fire Hall on
Jan. 16th at 7:30 p.m. The
evening program will consist
of remarks by Robert V.
Clark, Executive Director of
The Pennsylvania Forestry
Association and The Penn
sylvania Logging Safety
Council in regard to ac
tivities and legislation
pertaining to logging and
sawmill operation. In ad
dition, he will discuss the
current program of Work
men’s Compensation and
Health and Accident In
surance available through
events are in the Astroworld
Hotel or Astrohall at Houston
and are being held during
Houston’s Stock Show and
Rodeo.
