Keep Family
Communication Open
It’s important to let youth,
especially your own
children, know what you
stand for and what you stand
against. If this is done,
James Van Horn, Extension
family life specialist at The
Pennsylvania State
University, says it will be
less likely that youth will
face the world without
having thought about im
portant issues. They’ll be on
their way to knowing what
they stand for.
