Opens
The Charles Town Turf
Club is* set to open the 1975
racing season locally with a
67-night Winter meeting that
opens January 24 and runs
through Saturday, April
12th.
The same setup that was
presented last year, con
sisting of 10 races ■ daily
getting underway at 7:15 and
13 race cards on Saturdays
with a 6 p.m. post, will be
offered again. Friday,
March 28th (Good Friday)
will be a dark day.
Cindy Reggi,- the first
female rider to claim a
riding title here when she
guided 43 winners home in
the 1974 Fall meeting, and
Peter Shelton, who led all
riders for the 1974 season
