Small Grain Champs Lehigh County exhibitors F FUTURE captured three cham pionships in small gram judging competition at the 59th Farm Show. David Kershner, of RD2, New Tripoli, captured the championship in the oats division; Wayne Bruch, of RDI, Zionsville, exhibited the champion barley sam ple; and' Clark Mantz, of New Tripoli, captured the Japanese buckwheat class with his sample. A Schreiber, of Jersey Shore, Clinton County, showed the champion wheat sample; James .Weeter, of RD2, Knox, Clarion County, won the soybean division; Bruce Mattis, of RDI, Halifax, Dauphin County, won a championship with his Pennquad buckwheat sample. Jesse Balmer, of RD4, Lititz, Lancaster County, won a championship m the rye division. Maynard Hess, Stewart stown R 2, York County, took first place in two categories of oats competition, and had the top entries in the red clover and timothy seed contests. Allen Ackley, Lititz Rl, Lancaster County, had the top entry m Pennrad winter wheat competition.
