The society voted to accept Mrs. Charles Wenger, Paradise as a new member. A collection was taken to be given to the workers of Christ’s Home for Children. Harry Hovis, Lancaster, presented the program concerning perfume making. Hovis is a chemist and makes perfume as a hobby. The next meeting will be January 11th at the home of Mrs. Bernard Palmeri, Bachmantown Rd., Ronks. Miss Joyce Burkholder will be the speaker. Roll call will be “an unusual Christmas gift received.” Hostesses will be Mrs. Carlton Hom sher, Mrs. David Kauffman and Mrs. Roy Patton. Society 11 The Society of Farm Women 11 held their Christmas Party at the Brethren Church at Mechanic Grove Dec. 26th. Mrs. Bessie Rcssel had the devotions. Roll call was responded to with lines from Christmas cards. Committee reports were given and a donation was given to the tancastcr Farm Women project of the year. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wenger showed slides from their trip to the Holy Land whit i were enjoyed very much. Christmas gifts were exchanged and refreshments were served by the hostesses who were the officers. The next meeting will be January 30th in the Com munity Building in Mechanic Grove. HEARTY ROAST BEEF HASH 6 eggt 6 teaspoons cream 3-11 1/2 ounce packages of Stouffer’s Frozen Roast Beef Hash Dash of Salt Defrost hash overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature for 1-2 hours. Preheat oven to 350*F. Place Roast Beef Hash in a shallow baking dish and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and make six indentations on top with a tablespoon. Break eggs and place in each identa tion. Sprinkle with salt and pour one teaspoon of cream over each t 6 g. Return it to oven for 15-20 minutes or until eggs are set in desired maimer. Serves 6.
