Kevin Daub
Kevin Daub, a senior at
Tulpehocken Area Schools is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Daub of RDI
Bethel. Keven has several
steers and swine for his
farming program. He also
has an “on farm” work
program with his father, a
livestock farmer. Besides
having a large livestock
operation, Mr 7 Daub has a
farm welding shop. Kevin,
with his other brother, help
in that Agri-Business
operation.
Kevin is our current
president of our FFA
Chapter and serving as
County FFA Sentinel. Kevin
Youth To Receive Keystone Degrees
attended many fairs and two
state FFA Conventions. He
plans to have a career in
agriculture.
Harold Mogel
Harold Mogel, 18, is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin
Mogel, Robesoma RDI.
Presently, he is a senior at
the Conrad Weiser Area

High School where he serves
the FFA Chapter as
treasurer.
Harold’s supervised oc
cupational experience
program at the present tune
includes four dairy animals,
com and oats. In addition to
that program he is very
active in FFA serving on
many committees and
participating in various
contests. He also serves as
the assistant steward in the
Bemville Grange No. 1887.
Mogel’s future plans are to
enroll in the Pennsylvania
State University’s Farm

Herman Manbeck
Herman Manbeck, 17, is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
George R. Manbeck, Sr.,
Womelsdorf, RDI. A senior
at Conrad Weiser Area High
School he is serving as
Chapter FFA President.
Herman is quite a busy
young man being active in
his farming program, high
school sports, FFA and 4-H
activities. His farming
program includes fourteen
dairy animals, hogs, corn,
hay, wheat, and sorghum. In
addition to serving as
Chapter President, he is Vice
President of the Berks
County FFA. This past
summer he was a member of
the first place dairy judging
team at the State FFA
Herman Manbeck
Conrad Weiser
Contest and won a silver
medal in the National Dairy
Judging Contest at Kansas
City, Mo. He is also currently
serving as President of the
Stouchsburg 4-H Dairy Club.
He is a member of the high
school wrestling team.
Manbeck’s future plans
include becoming
established as a dairy far
mer and continuing to be
active in community affairs.
Darryl Hartman
Darryl Hartman, 18, is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale
Hartman, Robesonia, RDI.
Darryl graduated from
Conrad Weiser Area High
School this past June. He is
presently employed by Mr.
Darrel D. Hartman

Donald Duncan, Robesonia
RDI as a dairy herdsman.
Hartman’s record shows
steady progress in the
agriculture field. He began
as a milker’s helper six
years ago and added more
responsibilities year by year
until he achieved his present
position. A past winner of the

servation Public Speaking
Contest, he also demon
strated his leadership
abilities by serving as
Chapter President and Berks
County Sentinel during his
senior year in high school.
He also served as a football
manager for the high school
team for two years.
Darryl’s future plans are

Robert Gross
Robert A. Gross, 17, son of
Mr. and Mrs. L. Earl Gross
of Fawn Grove, is a senior at
Kennard-Dale High School
where he is president of his
FFA Chapter. Robert’s
farming program consists of
field corn and sweet com. He
has received awards for
record keeping of his corn
projects and from the
Pennsylvania Crop Im
provement Association Corn
Contest. Robert was a
member of the 1974 Kennard-
Dale Parlimentary
Procedure Team, which
placed first in the York
County Parlimentary
Procedure Contest, and
second in the State Contest.
Robert also attended the 1964
National FFA Convention.
After graduation Robert
plans to enter into farming
with his father.
