Bob has served as County Red Rose delegate at the Penn State FFA Convention. Activities have included many local, county and state functions. He was successful in capturing honors in county, area and regional Public Speaking contests and participated in the State contest. He served on the Parliamentary Procedure team, attended the 1974 National FFA Leadership training conference in Washington, D.C. and served as tour guide at Dairy Days in Harrisburg. Bob’s supervised farming program over the past four years has included sheep breeding and dairy herd projects. He is presently involved in the Cooperative Work Experience program on and off-farm. Plans following graduation include working with his fa ther and with Hat & Gavel Auction. Bob enjoys writing poetry and expects to expand this interest. Kevin Rotarer Kevin Rohrer, a senior agriculture student at Manheim Central High School, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rohrer, Manheim RD7. Kevin now holds the office of Chapter vice-president. Over the past years Kevin has participated in showing of beef, sheep, hogs, tobacco and com from his projects. In 1973 he attended State FFA Activities Week at Penn State as a poultry judge where he placed silver and attended the Eastern States Exposition in Mass. He has served in the local and county Parliamentary Procedure team for two years as well as many local and county activities par ticipated in by the Chapter. Kevin’s farming program consists of steers, market hogs, sheep breeding, tobacco and com. His plans are to work with his father and future plans may include college with a major m animal scinece-. Dale Weber Son of Rev. and Mrs. Lewis E. Weber, Denver RD2, is a 1974 graduate of Ephrata High School. Dale has served on various FFA committees for the Cloister FFA. His occupational placement program was at Hollinger’s Market, where is presently employed as a small engine mechanic. Barry Wissler Son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Wissler, RDI Ephrata is currently serving as President of the Cloister and County FFA Chapters. He attended the 1972 National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Mo. as a member of the State Milk Products Team and the 1973 Convention as a chapter delegate. Felpel, RD2, Ephrata has served the local chapter as chaplin apd treasurer. Jim was a member of the second place team in the small gas engine contest at Penn State that later placed third in the regional contest at Springfield, Mass.
