Robert Buckwalter Robert Buckwalter, 17, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Buckwalter of Columbia RD2 lives on a 60 acre farm. He has had veal calves, heifers, tobacco, corn, market hogs and sows as projects. Bob served as sentinal, vice- Robert Buckwalter Penn Manor president and is presently president of the Manor Chapter and sentinal of the Lancaster County Association. In his freshman year Bob received the greenhand degree and was named the Star Greenhand Farmer at the spring banquet. He also won the county quiz contest and was awarded a chain quilt. At the State Con vention at Penn State Bob placed fifth in the State Poultry contest which won him a trip to Springfield, Mass, to judge there. He was a member of the first place beef judging team at the Eastern States Exposition in the fall of '72. Last year he received the Red Rose Degree and was later awarded Star Red Rose Farmer of the Manor Chapter. Bob placed first in the State Meat Judging Competition which sent him to Kansas City to judge in national competition where he won a silver medal. At the spring banquet he received the FFA Foundation Award for efficiency in crop production. He recently attended the National FFA Convention at Kansas City this fall. Bob is a member of Millersville Mennonite Church and is a senior at Penn Manor High School. He is presently employed at Turkey-Hill Dairy. J. Richard Burkholder J. Richard Burkholder is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Burkholder. He is a senior at Penn Manor High School and a member of the Manor Richard Burkholder Penn Manor Coktum Oxide Magnesium Oxide 53 SS Chapter FFA. In 1973 he was scntinal and is presently treasurer. His projects in clude a sow, market hogs, a steer, com and tobacco. He has attended the Penn State Convention twice and has attended the Convention at Kansas City. C. Randall Hunt C. Randall Hunt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Hunt, RDI, Millersville. He lives on a 90 acre farm west of Millersville. Some of his projects were veal calves, tobacco, corn production, Randall Hunt Penn Manor hogs and beef fattening programs. He is now specializing in corn production and hog fat tening. He has held the of fices of Assistant Treasurer, Student Advisor and Reporter m the Manor FFA. He has represented the Manor Chapter as a land judge at the FFA Mid summer Convention at Penn State University in 1972, 1973, and 1974. He has shown his hogs in the 1974 Lan caster FFA Hog Show and Farm Show, and he plans to show some hogs at this year’s Farm Show. He went out to Kansas City, Mo. to attend the National FFA Convention. Charles Kauffman, Jr. Penn Manor Charles M. Kauffman Jr. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles M. Kauffman. RDI, Millersville.
