Lancaster 717-393-3906 Wayne Introduces Feed Mate Mixes The Wayne Feed Division of Allied Mills, Inc., has introduced the Wayne Grain and Roughage-Mate feeds to help dairy, hog and cattle feeders utilize their limited feed supplies efficiently. Wayne’s Gro-Pork Grain-Mate for hogs and Dairy Grain-Mate for dairy cattle were designed to stretch the frost and drought damaged and immature grain hog feeders and dairymen were able to salvage this year. With Gro- Pork Grain-Mate, hog feeders can feed 40 percent less grain than would be necessary with a grain and concentrate. Dairymen, too, can reduce the amount of grain they feed per day by using the Dairy Grain-Mate program. This reduction will depend on the percent crude protein the dairyman wants in his final ration. A dairyman using a 16 percent crude protein ration HAY WANTED Kaolin Mushroom Farms Inc. CALL 1-215-268-2262 would usually use a ration containing 77 percent grain and 23 percent of a 36 percent dairy supplement. If he were to use Wayne’s Dairy Grain- Mate instead of the 36 per cent supplement his 16 percent ration would only contain 57 percent grain-a 20 percent savings of grain. Cattle feeders who have large supplies of roughages and-or limited feed grain supplies can get maximum utility from these feeds by incorporating Wayne’s Roughage-Mates into their cattle rations. These new products supply the high energy needed to sup plement heavy roughage rations and adequate protein to stretch grain supplies. Wayne manufactures two Roughage-Mate products. The 18 percent product was designed by Wayne Research for growing rations, while the 13 percent Roughage-Mate can be used for finishing rations. • De LovaI'MILKERS sales & service • Topline Transfer System • Full Line Cleaning Detergents • Installation Pipelines & Parlors CALL FOR FREE ESTIMATE t J.
