trip where she represented
the County in the Horse

As a member of the 4-H
County Council, Cherri has
served on various com
mittees and helped plant
flower bulbs for 4-H week.
She also helped to make a
tape promoting 4-H for
National 4-H week.
During the summer
months, Cherri traveled to
many shows with her
registered quarter horse
where she competed in the
western pleasure classes.
In almost all of the shows
that included Marietta,
Newberrytown, Columbia
and the Lebanon Show,
Cherri brought a bushelful of
blue ribbons home.
Cherri has also par
ticipated in the District and
State 4-H Horse shows.
Another award which Cherri
is proud of is the reserve
grand champion honor that
she captured for her club
scrapbook at the annual
achievement show.
At school, Cherri is a
member of the Pep Club and
enjoys attending sports
events.
Cherri will still be serving
as a teen leader of Silver
Spurs over the winter
months, as the Horse Club
continues its programs and
projects throughout the

Trade School Receiving Students
The Thaddeus Stevens
Trade School, Lancaster,
Pennsylvania, is now
receiving applications for
admissions for the coming
school year, beginning
September, 1975. Stevens is a
free trade school maintained
and operated by the Com
monwealth of Pennsylvania
for the training and
education of orphans and
other deserving boys who
meet the standards of needs
established by the Board of
Directors and the Com
monwealth.
It is the purpose of the
school to provide free of
charge room and board as
well as shop and classroom
instruction. The courses
offered are approved by the
Pennsylvania Department of
Education.
A small number of tuition
students who do not meet the
standards of need are ac
cepted each year. These
students must submit a
TUITION APPLICATION
which can be obtained from
the Admissions Office.
