Keystone Livestock Expo Winners Listed

dominated the Yorkshire
and Hampshire shows at the
Keystone this past week, as
they showed the champion
and reserve champion boar
in the Yorkshire class.
Richard Sholley,
Jonestown; showed the
reserve champion Spotted
boar and the top two gilts in
the class.
Ed Hildebrand, RD3,
Dillsburg exhibited the
reserve champion Chester
White Boar with Dennis
Grumbine, Myerstown
taking the top two boar
prizes in the Berkshire
division.
Mark Nestleroth,
Manheim; showed the sth,
6th and 11th place crossbred
market hogs in the open
class while finishing 3rd, sth
and 9th in the lightweight
Duroc competition, 7th in the
medium weight class and 4th
and 11th in the heavyweight
competition.
Market Hogs
Penn State was the top
winner in the on-foot judging
of market hogs. State’s entry
in the crossbred barrow
class was named champion
on Sunday afternoon and was
selected open grand,
champion over seven other
breed champions on Mon
day.

An Elizabethtown girl, Janice
Kaylor, had the top Angus steer in
Monday’s junior steer show at the
Keystone International Livestock
Exposition. Janice is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. Shelly Kaylor, and is a
member of the Dauphin County Baby
Beef Club.
