Doty Remsburg, of Jefferson, Maryland reported that a very good crowd attended the herd dispersal on November 2nd. 115 animals were sold, top milking cows graded good plus, registered and sired by Eagle Point Design Bonus brought $l4OO. Auctioneer, Larry Martin reported that over 1000 people gathered on Saturday morning, November 2, in Intercourse for a public auction of 175 carriages and antique slfeighs that bad been a collection housed in a horse and buggy museum in Gettysburg. Interested buyers from approximately 30 states offered their bids for the vehicles that included milk wagons and buckboards. Highlight of the show was the Park Coach made by “Holland” that sold for $ll,OOO.
