A cow in the herd of Harold G. Bollinger had the highest
lactation completed this month. 0 Mae, a 7-year-old,
produced 993 pounds of fat with a 3.7 percent test and 26,628
pounds of milk.
Second high records were by a cow in the herd of Dale E.
Hostetter. Number 33 had 853 pounds of fat with a 4.2 percent
test and 20,092 pounds of milk.
The highest daily butterfat average was recorded by the
herd of Harold G. Bollinger and had 1.92 pounds of fat.
Second high records were by the herd of Raymond N. Getz
which recorded 1.91 pounds of fat.
The Lebanon County Dairy Herd Improvement
Association’s records of tests of county cows with over 600
pounds of fat in September are as follows:
