NEST RUN EGGS
Prices are from Egg Clearinghouse, Inc., (ECI) Durham,
N.H. and reflect trading prices for gradeable nest run eggs,
(GNR) on ECI, a nationwide trading center for producers,
packers and marketers. GNR eggs are classified by weight in
30-dozen cases, and traded in lots of either 300 or 750 cases.
Prices are FOB buyers dock, and are computed Tuesday and
Thursday of each week. This week’s prices for each

Flood Checks Released
To Non-Profit Groups
The release of checks
totaling 61,436,760 to non
profit organizations which
suffered damage during the
floods of September, 1971
and June, 1972 was an
nounced today by Governor
Milton J. Shapp.
The payments made today
went to 32 of the 140 ap
plicants for the program. All
remaining checks will be
mailed out by the end of
November.
The $5 million program,
known as Act 159, was
passed by the General
Assembly and signed into
law by Shapp last January.
It authorizes state aid to
nonprofit organizations
damaged in the floods of
