Hie evaulators then send the
information or each in
dividual cow to the DeForst
headquarters-where it is sent
through die computer with
the material on the bulls.
Selected sires are then
recommended for each cow
strengthening her weakness
for more quality offspring.
Although the main
facilities for ABS is located
in DeForrest, Wisconsin; the
company maintains
headquarters in Wellington,
Colorado; Calgary, Alberta,
Canada; and in Hamilton,
New Zealand. Plana are now
in the making for another
artificial insemination
center in Australia.
American Breeders
Service has also taken an
interest in the youth of the
country by sponsoring 4-H
awards banquets at the Expo
and by using summer
