Legislation
For Driver Photos
Sen. Clarence F. Manbeck,
R-48th, has introduced
legislation allowing the State
Department of Tran
sportation to require every
operator’s license to bear a
photograph of the licensee.
Manbeck said, “Requiring
photographs of drivers will
be an important aid to law
enforcement officials in
identifying criminals. It also
will prevent motorists who
have lost their driving
privileges from using
another’s license.
“In addition, it will
provide a mandatory means
of identification which will
help in such day-to-day
activities as cashing checks.
I believe all these reasons
explain why this legislation
has extensive bipartisan
support.”
The Senator noted that

New Idea’s Superpickers
Want
• Ear corn?
• Shelled com?
You can have your choice with a 2-row Superpicker.
For ear com, choose the 8- or 12-roll husking bed.
You’ll get cleanly husked ears. For shelled com you
can specify the popular cage-type shelter, or the huge
capacity Supersheller. Both are gentle and easy to
adjust.
Interchanging any of these four processing units is
done on the farm, without special tools. So you can
harvest part of your com one way and part another.
And, there are two gathering units; one for wide rows,
one for narrow. Come in and let’s talk Superpickers!
