conjunction with the 25th
anniversary meeting of the
national Dairy Shrine Club.
During the Shrine Club
program, four “pioneers” of
the dairy industry were
honored, including O.F.
Foster, Clarkston,
Michigan; James F. Ken
drick, Arlington, Virginia;
John R. Valentine, Bryn
Mawr, Pennsylvania and Joe
S. Taylor, State College,
Pennsylvania, Guest of
Honor award went to Dr.
Harry A. Herman and the
student recognition contest
winner was Dale Matheron,
Merced, California.
Donald V. Seipt, Easton
RIM, was elected president
of the Dairy Shrine to suc
ceed outgoing president Dr.
George Trimberger, Cornell
University.
