Help Children Make Friends
The grade school years are
the most crucial time in
learning how to make
friends. Extension family
life specialists at The
Pennsylvania State
University say that parents
can help with social
development as well as with
homework. They point out
that if you .have friends and
entertain them in your home,
your child is likely to regard
friendship as an important
value in his life, too. When
you child invites classmates
home, welcome them even
though at times this may
mean confusion or in
convenience.
